Doesn't djgpp have issues with win2k?
maybe running programs compiled on win2k with djgpp is an issue.
i have to use my win2k box to compile binarys that i run on my 486 laptop.
my laptop has not the spare hd space for a compiler.
djgpp as a compiler should work on i386 as it is just a compiler, the
compiler itself should not be optimized for pentium only.
espeacilly djgpp, infact if everyone is to use it on anything from 386 to
p4, then it should be written to run i386 instructions only.
Or does it just have issues with XP?
i think running djgpp compiled binarys on 2k/XP is going to give you hassles.
Other than that, I'm clueless about this. :)
I recall that there was a problem some time ago, but I thought it'd been
fixed?
not fixed... maybe just a method to fix the problem was made. the problem
still exists.
