My apologies: it turns out I was using Allegro 4.0.0, which I must have
installed when I wanted to test something. I am unable to set up Allegro CVS
at the moment, probably owing to a mess I made of my system when trying to
get joysticks working, but that's off topic.
So, can anyone reproduce the problem with a recent Allegro version? On
platforms other than Linux too?
