Hi,
On Allegro.cc (http://www.allegro.cc/forums/view_thread.php?_id=202972
for more information), somebody is having problems with monochrome text
rendering in win32 fullscreen modes (with bpp > 8). This occurs with
Allegro 4.0.2.
The code for rendering monochrome glyphs is in allegro/src/glyph.c , and
I guess that it works correctly since it works for us and there is
nothing that should break on Windows, with the possible exception of
the macros bmp_write_line() et al.
I have asked the person involved to upgrade his graphics drivers, since
they may be causing the problem, but has anybody else heard of any
similar problem? Eric, I presume this works for you (ie. does the test
program work in fullscreen modes?) - please confirm. Thanks :-)
Bye for now,
