I must admit I don't see it, but then I only ever use --libs or
- --cflags. Vincent, can you (or someone) change the script so that it
doesn't emit -I<allegro_prefix> if allegro_prefix is already in the
path? The preprocessor which ships with gcc3 complains:
sh-2.05$ touch test.c
sh-2.05$ gcc `allegro-config --cflags` -o test.o -c test.c
cc1: warning: changing search order for system directory
"/usr/local/include"
cc1: warning: as it has already been specified as a non-system
directory
sh-2.05$
This is also very annoying, especially since it is emitted once for each
file. But sometimes I use Allegro at home (instlled in /usr/local) and
sometimes at University, where they won't let me have root access :-)
so everything is in ~, and I need allegro-config --cflags .
