i think this is no problem for some reasons:
 · Allegro apps eats *anyway* almost all the cpu
 · there are simple tricks to eat all the cpu (busy-wait)
 · if somebody can access framebuffer, usually it is "more" than a
normal user: it is in the group video
so i really do not see anything bad in a framebuffer that implements
vsync eating all the cpu... bah, maybe i misunderstood something...
