All of them have been backported, as well as two additional fixes for
misc/deplib.sh and misc/depmod.sh . The complete ChangeLog is located at:

It would be nice if it were tested (compilation+installation) on the maximum
number of platforms.
Here's the current state of testing:
8 primary platforms:
- DJGPP: ok (DJGPP 2.03, gcc 2.95.3)
- Mingw32: ok (Mingw 1.1, gcc 2.95.3)
- Borland C++ (Windows): ok (BC++ 5.5.1)
- QNX: ok (QNX RtP 6.1, gcc 2.95.2)
- Linux: ok (Mandrake 8.0, gcc 2.91.66, gcc 2.96, gcc 3.1.1)
- Watcom (DOS): untested
- MSVC: untested
- BeOS: untested
3 secondary platforms:
- FreeBSD: untested
- Solaris: untested
- IRIX: untested
