Stepan should now be able to upload snapshots.

Attached is a little hack of mine: it makes modifications to misc/fixver.sh
so as to let it handle the "datestamp" argument (like misc/zipup.sh). When
the script is passed this argument, it keeps the current version digits
and sets the comment to be the date.

[I'm not at all a specialist of sh scripting, so feel free to butcher it]
