OK, the autoconf problem I had was caused by me accidentally applying
the patch twice to aclocal.m4 :-(, so that doesn't represent a problem,
but now trying to compile gives me this:
make: *** No rule to make target `lib/unix/alleg-artsdigi.so', needed
by `modules'. Stop.
I am trying to compile a CVS version of Allegro, possibly 3 or 4 days
old, with (only) your second patch and arts.c in src/unix.
