For hex numbers, it would be nice if #000000 etc. could be recognised.
I was going to add this function to my own program, along with a set_hex24
for outputting colors in HTML style. I prefer this to 0x~~ because most
users do not know C.
Now I think about it. having HTML colour names would be good too, so maybe
this is too much to build into Allegro?
