I don't think this example fits very well with Allegro's examples because:
- It doesn't show any particular feature not used in other examples.
- It's nowadays useless, because it has too many restrictions to what
you can do. And new programmers aim directly at truecolor anyway...
Also, it's different from what the ex12bit example does, since this one
shows how to "hack" allegro to provide a new custom simulated color depth,
which can be used generically (with some limitations, of course).
