Yes, it (netscape 4.7) is indeed still popular. For instance, 4.76 is
still the 'standard' shipped with redhat 7.1. Don't know about later
redhat versions. Also at work, running IRIX 6.5, we have no other
option since netscape 4.78 is the latest version available (no version
6).

I tested it in linux (X 4.0?, netscape 4.76, mozilla M18, links 0.93,
lynx 2.8.4dev.16) and found the following:

- netscape works (seems to be korean with some function names in normal
english text). Window title bar is messed up.

- mozilla works (same as netscape), window title bar also messed up.

- links does NOT work: whole window is messed up with strange characters.

- lynx says: 'Alert! euc-kr', then prints junk all over the screen.

Note that I have not installed korean fonts for X, so I don't know how
this will work if you do have them installed and your xterm can
actually understand them. It seems that netscape 4.76 and mozilla M18
don't give problems, but you should find out which older versions do
give problems: please don't assume people can (or want to) just
upgrade their browser.

I would like you to put up a test page with the utf8 version of the
english page, so I can check if the 'normal' case still works: I think
it's quite important that browsers like links and lynx still work:
these pages contain almost only text so it should function.
