[AD] Sound problem with OSS

Hi,

I wrote here several weeks ago about I couldn't get digi driver to
work in Linux, although sound worked perfectly in Linux.
I found that: When sound_bits is not set, it defaults to 16.
When setting this to 8 explicitely, I get sound.
I'm afraid the DSP does not send an error back when Allegro
programs it with 16 though. So I don't know if there's a
way to autodetect that.

kernel 2.2.10, recompiled with non default options (suse distro)

I guess I have a problem with my 16 bit DMA....
