[chrony-dev] Re: timepps.h and pps support in chrony

I am having very weird problems with chronyc on one of my machines. I
installed 1.31.1 . Permissions on /etc/chrony.conf and /etc/chrony.keys are
root.chrony rw-r----- chrony.conf
root.chrony rw-r----- chrony.keys

Now I would expect that password .... in chronyc or chronyc -a would not work
( and they do not on another machine). But on this one both work fine. I get
permission to do anything on chronyc.

What in the world could be going on here?
