That worked. The border of that block in inkscape didn't have the red to green border still, but at least it showed up in xmoto. Thanks again. I should be uploading another version tonight sometime.

hye,

when you're out of memory on your system, inkscape can't launch python extensions. but it doesn't tell you that, it only don't launch it...
try quitting other applications to free some memory on your system (if you're under linux, check that you have a swap).

the problem on your level is that you have selected the root layer instead of your 'Layer1' in inkscape, so in the bottom left part of inkscape, choose the 'Layer1' layer instead of the '(root)' one.
To move objects you created in the (root) layer back into your Layer1 (only the bottom block in your level), select those objects when choose in the inkscape menu 'Layer' ->'Move selection to layer below' (Shift+PgDn)

You can see that in the inkscape xml editor (Edit -> XML Editor), there you can see your 'rect6149' at the same level than the 'layer1'. another way to move your objects back into the layer1 is by dragging dropping them in the xml editor (your drag the <svg:rect id="rect6149"> line into the <svg:g id="layer1" inkscape:lab......> one)

when i was working on the sublayers for inksmoto sprites it sometimes happens that i switched to the (root) layer too... i've never been able to reproduce it when i wanted...
but you're the first to complain about it.

Guys, I'm in a pickle. I can't seem to add anymore blocks to that level, or even strawberries. Something seems corrupted or I've done something wrong along the way.

I'm attaching the files . I can't seem to get that block that's at the bottom border to show up in the game. The border in inkscape is solid red instead of starting red at the bottom and turning green towards the top. I couldn't even add strawberries to the level.

Thanks,
Weldon

Hi,

thanks for your level.

Unfortunately it cannot be validated for the following reasons :

- its nice. only thing: change the border texture (maybe black or sth. else), on the lower level, where you ride on the border, use a block with edge textures instead
