El equipo SliTaz avisa orgullosamente el lanzamiento de una nueva versión Cooking, que pavimentará el camino a Slitaz 5.0. Este nuevo Cooking incluye casi 2 años de trabajo y un increíble Changelog (listado de cambios). Todos nuestras herramientas caseras han sido mejoradas con unas tremendas herramientas nuevas como 'frugal' o 'decode'. Hemos enfocado nuestro trabajo en la integración de la integración del escritorio para proveer una fina experiencia del usuario y mejoramos bastante la configuración del Núcleo Linux (3.2.53).
En el lado de paquetes hemos actualizado todos los paquetes existentes, y hemos añadido un montón de paquetes para alcanzar mas de 4200 paquetes en la base de datos Cooking. Tambien se ha hecho mucho trabajo en el instalador Slitaz que provee un interfáz Ncurses, a base de texto.
Ahora el LiveCD preguntará por configuraciónes de idioma antes de arrancar para que los usuarios llegarán directamente al Escritorio despues de ejecutarse los guiones de arranque.
