I have applied my patch to tazlito, and I am happy with my
loram-smallcdrom on usb I am using now on Mac or Dell computer.
The patch is http://labs.slitaz.org/issues/371#note-1
I forgot to show my cmdline:
initrd=../initfs-lz-330LC loram=LABEL=p1-liveOSs lang=fr_FR
kmap=fr-latin1 rw vga=normal autologin home=sdc2 BOOT_IMAGE=../bzImage
The very important one is loram= which says to init where to find
rootfs.gz (default to cdrom).
Unfortunately, on my loram*small*cdrom-usb, I can't use
loram=<device>,<dir> because tazlito's initfs does use <dir> only to
find /fs which is uncompressed ( and I don't want !) but not rootfs.gz,
so it's mandatory to have it at the root of the partition. Here is an
excerpt of the file list of this usb partition:
../lost+found (ext4)
../rootfs.gz
../liveOSs/slitaz-cooking/phl/boot/isolinux/ldlinux.sys
../liveOSs/slitaz-cooking/phl/boot/isolinux/extlinux.conf (link to fr.cfg)
../liveOSs/slitaz-cooking/phl/boot/initfs-33r0-loram-smallcdrom.lz
../liveOSs/slitaz-cooking/phl/boot/initfs-lz-330LC (link to the above)
