As reported in:

we are still suffering some compilation problems with sawfish-1.8.2
like:
*** Error: /usr/lib64/rep/gui/gtk-2/gtk.so: undefined symbol:
scm_is_pair
*** Error: /usr/lib64/rep/gui/gtk-2/gtk.so: undefined symbol:
scm_is_pair
*** Error: /usr/lib64/rep/gui/gtk-2/gtk.so: undefined symbol:

*** Error: /usr/lib64/rep/gui/gtk-2/gtk.so: undefined symbol:
scm_is_pair
