Hm, here it passes configure with libgig-3.2.1 installed, but then dies
on make

make[3]: *** No rule to make target `../src/liblinuxsampler.la', needed
by `linuxsampler'.  Stop.
-----

linuxsampler-9999 compiles fine though.

What's the exact output of your error?
