Hi there to everyone.
I just tried to upgrade to rt-sources-2.6.16-rt29 and immediatly started
having problems with my soundcard (an Echo-Digital MIA).
Until yesterday, dmesg said:
Echoaudio Mia: probe of 0000:01:09.0 failed with error -5
Today I did an emerge --sync and a svn-up, tried to recompile rt-sources
and started to have the following error:
checking for which soundcards to compile driver for... configure: error:
Unsupported soundcard mia

I have the same error even if I use the "stable" version of alsa-driver
(1.0.11) and I don't know if it depends on gentoo-portage or on this
overlay. Until these latest updates I didn't have any problem with the
alsa-driver package.
Ah, a final note: I have to use the external alsa-driver, because
echo-audio cards need the external firmware provided by the
alsa-firmware package
