Hi,
There is a great (IMO) music player that I have used everyday for a
couple of years now called Aqualung. It's Jack enabled and works
great. However there has never been an ebuild for it in the general
Gentoo portage system. Anyone interested can check it out here:

For me it builds easily on Gentoo so I don't think there are any
library issues.
It would be great, if someone likes it enough to invest the time,
to get an ebuild for it one of these days. If someone was to do an
ebuild then there should certainly be an option to build from CVS as
releases are not so often on this app.
