Hi!
I'm new there and am enjoying that great Gentoo Pro Audio overlay for just a
couple of days. Thanks for the good work ! ;-)
I'm writting my first message to the mailling list to tell the maintainers
about a recent new release of a package included in your overlay, but which
is thus not the last version available any more. Indeed, a new 0.6 version
of the TuxGuitar tablature editor (`media-sound/tuxguitar') has been
released on May 27.
URL to that project download area :
In the hope to have helped you and see TuxGuitar 0.6 in the overlay soon !
:p
Cheers,
Choplair
It will be fine.
I found a bug in tuxguitar-0.5.
portage dont install the file TuxGuitar.jar
So, when I run it, I get only
$ tuxguitar
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:
org/herac/tuxguitar/gui/TuxGuitar
I modified the line
mv files lang lib examples "${D}/opt/${MY_P}"
to
mv TuxGuitar.jar files lang lib examples "${D}/opt/${MY_P}"
I still get an error message when running emerge:
chmod: ne peut accéder # mean cannot access
`/var/tmp/portage/tuxguitar-0.5/image//opt/TuxGuitar-linux-SDK-0.5/*.so':
Aucun fichier ou répertoire de ce type # mean no files or directory of htis type
but the program work fine.
For the 0.6 version, I downloaded the tarball. It is just to decompress it and run the program. It work fine. But it is 2 different tarball, one for x86 and one for x86-64.
I cannot figure out how to download and install the correct file depending of the KEYWORD.
Ciao,
Dominique
