Not a rush for me. I've got it built but not yet installed. That said
I'd rather use portage han build and install by hand of course so
thanks in advance!

Note that I just discovered this version of JAck is not compatible
with the 0.19 release of port-audio so you either have to back down to
0.18 or build Jack with --disable-portaudio
