Hi Julien,

As far as I am able to test for now,
I hav not seen any change in the behavior of the different examples. Considering
that I successfully installed the toolchain for PowerPC but I haven’t
any output on qemu (misconfiguration?). For Leon port I also successfully
installed the toolchain but I am limited by TSIM eval version simulation
time. But it seems that with the modification everything is compiling.

Hi Etienne,

Thank you a lot for all the details. Having the background of your project
in mind and understand the issues you face help to understand why you wanted
to make these changes. Can you just confirm that after this patch, all
architectures are still working as before? In that case, just apply it.
