The new version does work. Depending on your macOS version, you will need to take different steps to allow macOS to run Hatari since it is not code-signed by an Apple developer account. We lost that when Troed no longer used a Mac.

The macOS build process was not changed since several months and I'd like to be sure it still creates working binaries
