Depending on your macOS version, you will
need to take different steps to allow macOS to run Hatari since it is
not code-signed by an Apple developer account. We lost that when Troed
no longer used a Mac.
yes, that's a known issue. I'm OK with paying the hatari-emu.org domain,
but giving money to apple to be able to sign a hobby project like Hatari
is not on my todo list :)
