I'm not sure. I have thought I should not expect it because of the technical
requirements of Kanji, but then I seem to recall recently seeing some mention
of Atari ST users groups here.

But that's not my problem.

Using Hatari on a Japanese PC (Panasonic Let's note running an older
Ubuntu and a down-level Hatari), I had to do a custom map to access
certain necessary keys, but I was unable to map some at all and others
just end up in odd places.

I don't think i was able to get tilde, but I'm able to get by without it.

Equals ended up on keycap-caret.

Plus ended up on shift-caret (keycap tilde) or keypad +

I think there's one more that ends up being rather awkward or impossible
to get, but I've just been mostly using the debug console, and I don't
remember which.

I'm doing my source code editing in gedit on the host, so it's not really
that big a problem, which is why I haven't asked about it before

And I'm running down-level so I need to pull current and build it to see
what that does, and if's still there I'll need to dig up my notes, which I
can't do for several hours.
