But the 'atari-hd-image.sh' does not create super-floppy images, does
it? As far as I can see, it always creates an MBR / root sector with a
partition table (but with the additional data from my previous mail) and
the concatenates a whole FAT16 file system with its own VBR / boot sector.

If I wanted a super-floppy image, I would just use mkdosfs, without
creating a separate root sector.

You can find the output of 'atari-hd-image.sh' attached. I still don't
see why it should fill the MBR (except for the partition table, of course)..
