Theoretically, yes. However since the first error message is displayed after the Dfree call, it makes totally sense that this is causing some problem. Guess you have to take a look what Dfree actually returns.

 

But i would still treat this as a bug in the program, even if Hatari tries to work around it. Also that program is not very comfortable, and all other mentioned RSC editors should be a better choice. Maybe not worth the hassle to investigate that further (unless it turns out that this is a bug in Hatari).
