I think that benchmarking this way isn't very accurrate when using the 512k version of emutos. Once it reaches the desktop, it will just hang around the STOP instruction in GEM. Using TOS may be a bit better, but also not much. Instead of the STOP instruction, it will just sit inside a tight loop in GEM. Maybe better to run some real program that actually does something, like yaart.
