I will be interested in your progress. I saw someone at AF had compiled it for Apple Silicon, but he did not make clear if he had a developer certificate or not. When I looked up my strange error online, it seemed possible that Apple is tightening the restrictions on software that is not notarized. However, I could be wrong about that.

I haven't put any effort into it yet. According to Apple it's straight forward, so I might have a go at it, the problem being I don't have an M1 system myself.
