Hi,

Do you know what the memwatch + heatmap stuff in the UAE debug
file does?

Hi

just a guess (Toni might correct me), but I think that's a graphic representation of memory regions getting the most read/write accesses, using darker/lighter color dependending on the hit ratio.

It could be used in Hatari, but we're somewhat limited by our current SDL UI to have additional windows with such informations.

Hi

I just pushed some updates to the WinUAE cpu core included in Hatari to
sync with the latest version 3.4 b4.

Most of the changes related to Hatari were about the better prefetch for
68020/03 branch instructions, but thoses changes were in fact already
pushed to Hatari some months ago when discussing them with Toni.

The other changes are mostly some files reordering to use a directory
structure closer to the one used in WinUAE's sources, as well as
cleaning our own "compat.h", by using instead some files that were
introduced after WinUAE 3.1 to get a better OS independant interface
(those changes were often provided by FS-UAE author Frode Solheim).

Apart from that, a few fixes are available for some rare cases which
were not reported/used in Hatari (unimplemented opcodes, M bit), so
there should not be any visible change for us.

As WinUAE's sources changed a lot since 3.1, this will be mostly useful
to easily merge further changes.

Falcon / TT modes are still working in my quick tests, let me know if
you see some regressions.
