[hatari-devel] Xbios interception?

Hi,

I checked the RS-232 interception in xbios.c against
TOSHYP documentation and noticed that it's completely
lacking support for querying the settings, although
documentation recommends all apps to query first, so
that they can change only needed bits.

As RS-232 emulation should be working fine, would
anybody object if I would just remove the incomplete
(=broken?) interception support?


I also have patch implementing support for Dbmsg:

I.e. Atari XBios call for showing application messages
and invoking debugger, which in Hatari case would invoke
Hatari debugger when XBios interception is enabled.

Does anybody know any program using this API, or
otherwise have a use-case for it?
