As far as i know they are stilll supporting 10.5 and up. Just be sure to set the mimimum required version accorrdingly, as long you don't need any special functionality that is available only later.

There are still 2 french strings in the 'partage' and 'hartage' views.

Thorsten,

Please look at this OS X build. It should run on 10.10 and, hopefully, 10.9. If it runs on anything earlier than that, it would be great. I am running the latest Xcode version and Apple loves to remove compatibility for older versions of OS X. It is another way to get users to upgrade if new applications will not run on their older OS X version. I like my Mac, but that attitude does bother me. Anyway, that is why I feel Troed should provide the official binary because his compiled version runs on any Intel machine 10.5 or later.

If any other OS X users are reviewing this, I changed Accès Disquette accéléré to “Fast Floppy Access” and Systéme to “System”. I did not pay attention to it because, even with my limited Romance language skills, I knew what each item was in English.. As an ST user, I was used to reading non-English text. :)

If I have removed all of the French words from the English nib file, I will provide a new nib file for the repository.

... and now the application has been updated again, tested working without X11 (thanks Bob). It was indeed libSDL.dylib that had an X11 dependency that SDL.framework does not have. Since I had no real reason for changing which of them I used I've now gone back to building exactly the same way I built the v1.8.0 release but with the latest sources.

If no other show stoppers appear I should be able to make a release when needed, with some caveats that my travel schedule might keep me offline for 24 hours every now and then.

Thanks all for the input. I can only assume this to be a problem with the Macports SDL .dylib compared to the Framework I used for v1.8.0. Will revert and send out a new link. Sorry.

I think the Mac version should be compiled without X11 support.
=> Simply disable it when configuring your build?
