Ok, I can reproduce this with OldUAE CPU core.

With WinUAE CPU core, demo causes emulation reset instead:
M68000 Bus Error reading at address $ff8e21 PC=$16c80.
Exception 2 (4238 16c84) at 16c80 -> 16c84!
Bus Error at address $ff8e21, PC=$16c80 addr_e3=16c84 op_e3=4238
Illegal instruction: 4e7b at 00016C8E -> 00016C92
M68000 Bus Error writing at address $7 PC=$72ef6.
Exception 2 (1b24 72efa) at 72ef6 -> 667e6541!
Bus Error at address $7, PC=$72ef6 addr_e3=72efa op_e3=1b24
