4MB would be the minimum step in actual practice. From my documentation (and
some experience), the amounts available are:
original Atari: 4MB or 16MB
GE-Soft: 2 slots, each slot can be empty/4MB/16MB SIMM, giving:
4MB, 8MB, 16MB, 20MB, 32MB
Magnum TT: 2 slots, each slot can be empty/16MB/32MB/64MB/128MB SIMM, giving:
16MB, 32MB, 48MB, 64MB, 80MB, 96MB, 128MB, 144MB, 160MB, 192MB, 256MB
CT60/CT63: 1 DIMM slot, up to 512MB, giving:
64MB, 128MB, 256MB, 512MB
There are probably other boards too.
