Re: [hatari-devel] OS X testing

[ Thread Index | Date Index | More Archives ]

I found a resolution to my problem. When I was testing Hatari’s video capture a few months ago, I changed the value of AviRecordVcodec to 1 instead of 2. I looked in the manual, but it did not tell me which value corresponds to PNG or BMP recording for the AVI. When I changed the value back to 2, the problem disappeared.

If AviRecordVcodec=1 is a valid value, could someone else try it on their system and attempt to record video using Hatari?

Anyway, the problem on my system has been resolved. I am sorry to take up people’s time.

Liste of my available OSx:
ppc G4 10.5.8
Intel dual core 10.6.8, 10.7.5, 10.8.5, 10.9.4
But, my true problem is: I don’t use Hatari. I don’t know how to record video with Hatari,  neither what is the source to recording.
I can download the clone, then   . /configure exec make ; make install.   But after that?

Do you have access to 10.9? I will try a simple make to see if that helps.
No... I do not want to install 10.9 on my MacBook !
Miguel, may be ?

Hi Bob,

No crash for me. 10.8.5.

I used a simple make, not XCode project.

Could someone else (Troed, Miguel) try to check out the latest Mercurial code and see if you have the same crashing problem when attempting to record video with Hatari? If it only is happening on my system, I am not concerned. However, if the crash can be reproduced, then I will ask how to check out older versions of the development code so I can try to find out when the error started since it does not happen in the 1.8.0 release code.
