Indeed, if you use EmuTOS you don't need any additional driver. FAT16 partitions up to 2 GB are supported, with or without partition table.

If you have an existing drive with FAT16 partitions (i.e. USB pen drive, SD-Card...), you can mount it on Hatari and use it directly. I'm not sure about Hatari geometry settings, though.

FAT32 is currently unsupported by EmuTOS (but supported by FreeMiNT over EmuTOS).
