Re: [hatari-devel] Videl borders

Hi,

All the modes would seem to be working now quite nicely. Thanks!

I think there's still a little problem with st low, st medium and Falcon med res (left border is big and right border is little).
They both use the "ST mode" formula. I don't know what's wrong with it.

For the warning, maybe we could display it only with a "debug" flag ?
After all, it only interrest us for emulation improvement, no ?
Or maybe display it once, inc a counter and reset the counter after each change of resolution.

I've also detected one problem with screenpain is a specific case : when I try to parameter a specific resolution (I don't remember wich one), resolution is set to 65536 and hatari crash.
I've seen this only with screenpain for now.

Any other ideas ?

Laurent

There's still one minor issue. The new code seems to call
HostScreen_setWindowSize() for every frame it draws.

This is somewhat annoying with programs that set some wierd
screen resolution for which Hatari code gives a warning on
console as that warning repeats now *on every frame*, instead
of being printed only when that mode was set.

Even more annoying it's when one wants to enable statusbar
debugging as now one gets that also for every frame, instead
of just when things change.

Could something be done about this?

PS. latest EmuTOS CVS snapshot supports now also resolution
changing on TT and Falcon! :-)
