Hi Rob,
I really have no idea why your fxd file crashes the system when you
copy it to the live system, and why it doesn't crash when you read it
from cd.
Problem is, that we aren't really able to find out, since a live
system can't save log files...
Your said you installed it, did it crash then as well?
Maybe there's something written in /var/log/freevo/main-500.log ?
