Yes, \vspace directly in a stanza is problematic.
If you need space after some stanza, you should add it in the optional argument of \newverse or of \&. Please read § 9.8 of the reledmac handbook.

In the first file I have add a \vspace indicaction at the end of each \stanza, what I had forgotten in the second file. I have added it now and it compiles without troubles... But could it be the problem? And what if I'd wish to have different distances inside file 1 and 2. I uderstand all must be identical between chunkies of the same text... but also between different files? So, I'm not sure that this was the problem, but the addition of these \vspace the compilation has run normally.

As a result I obtain even four pages in blank in the final pdf. I have been looking for information about it, but I have no idea to what could it be related. Could someone, please, guide me to find out where the problem might be. Thanks in advance.
