It isn't the best IRC client, but I've been using Pidgin for IRC simply because I already use it for aim and msn. It's free and it's kind of nice to have one program for all chat-related things.

Yeah, solved the problem.
About IRC, I do not have (know) any decent IRC client for Windows (I
develop under Windows). (mIRC has expired its evalutation time).
