Dear Claudio,

Thank you so much for getting back to me I really appreciate you assistance.

I am in touch with AXIS support team now to see if they can help, I am not a C programmer so don't have a glue on installing original C source files.

However I will look at your developer section and see if I can make any sense of the technical data.

I also have had the segmentation errors, I actually believe the problem to be driver related. Gphoto itself seems to be fine.

I'll let you know how I get on, the work you have done is fantastic, if you can provide a solution I will make a donation from our summer school project.( fraid it won't be huge but we will also make sure you get prominent mention of the related web site)

We intend to use the camera to take pictures of the curvature of the Earth from 30 KM High. (www.gpsboomerang.com) This is a summer school project for students.

Many thanks

Nathan

Caro Claudio,

Molti ringraziamenti

Nathan

I cannot help you because I don't have same camera and my ixus bring
me to a worst Segmentatio Fault.
When I have some time, I will try to update *gphoto to latest version.
Also you can try to update the package (and submit the patch on this
mailingilist) using SDKF and all published information.

Yes, it's true; generally openwrt require usb-core for usb function
but, in cris kernel porting, is not possible to compile a module
version of usb stack; so all the CrisOs firmware have this function
build in.
