Hallo frans-Willem,

Ik gebruik Ubuntu 14.04 met Orca die alleen in de GUI werkt. wat Orca 
betreft kun je je vragen goed kwijt op het Orca forum waar de Orca 
ontwikkelaars snel reageren. Ik ben een eind-gebruiker maar zag op het 
Orca forum onderstaand bericht waar je wellicht wat aan kan hebben 
omtrent spraak in een console.

storm did provide a script that did the needed configurations
just run
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/chrys87/fenrir/master/tools/configure_pulse.sh
twice, as root and as user. after a reboot it should work.
take care this only works in non systemwide mode.
