After discussing this with Elias on the mailing list,
I decided to support this SDL2 driver on condition that he documents
it well,
and also that the documents that it's not recommended for regular use
on Windows, Linux or OSX.
Rationale: SDL now supports many platforms like PSP, Haiku, Pandora, ...
that we can't reasonably support any time soon. For those various
platforms,
an SDL driver in Allegro would probably be a decent workaround.
