I got a mac and I think one of the things that was holding up a 4.4 release was lack of testing on Mac.
I tested svn on osx 10.5 (fix.sh macosx, make depend, make) and then ran the demo. It compiled
fine with a few warnings and also ran fine from what I tried (just the demo). Hope this helps in getting
a 4.4 release out.
