Initial Comment:
ex_saw has a scary type cast due to ALLEGRO_STREAM deriving from
ALLEGRO_EVENT_SOURCE via an user event source.  We should find a way
to allow users make their own event source objects which can be
registered with event queues in the same way as the builtin event
sources.
