CMS makes sense, except in my experience they all suck (apart from
the little script I hacked together myself) ;)
Afraid I'm not much help there.
Regarding the old content, having a sense of continuity is, I think,
important. It does make sense to clean it up though. For instance,
the links section on the current website. The competitions should, I
think stay (someone should try to add more recent competitions to the
list as well though). On the other hand, I don't think we need to
link to FreeBE/AF anymore. Most of the logo's are pretty aweful,
still, it's nice to have them up somewhere (by the way, do we need a
new one for A5? - aside, I still like the idea of doing something
with A-V, both because the A and V nicely mirror eachother and
because of "Allegro Vivace"). Do we want the DIGMID links preserved?
As long as we keep download links for A4 it probably makes sense to
do so. Do we want a DIGMID addon for A5? I could personally see a use
for one, but it's not the first priority.
News archive - does anyone actually browse old news? Falls into the
"why not" category for me though.
