I ran fix.bat and I when it set MSCVDIR = %VCINSTALLDIR% but on my WinXP SP2 laptop it set it to the long form instead of the 8.3 form like it was supposed to. I thought I’d bring this to your attention in case this wasn’t a one time fluke.
