Yes, that was basically the code I attached in this thread. But,
although it seemed to work on that Nokia Linux, I needed to extend it to
additionally set the window to be a DOCK window to work reliably here
(which works here fore me).
But I was meaning to find any official X11 documents telling why I need
the DOCK type, but couldn't find anything, so well - Hans's patch seems
somehow more robust, even if destroying the window is not very elegant.
