Hi Vicent,
I don't get which "program" do you say I've "told" to
generate black or transparent.
The fact was this:
- I have a new palette generated by Photoshop where
the BLACK color (0,0,0) was not at the index color 0.
- In this case, the ALLEGRO program did not use as
transparent the BLACK (0,0,0) color, it used the one
at index color 0 (which made me formulate the
question).
- I've used another platforms (and hardware) where the
index color for transparent can be set, and didn't
found any significant delay. May be on allegro is not
the case, I don't know. I guess it would be
interesting to have this capability on the new GUI, as
Elias said before.
